An unusual mid-19th century villa which retains its historic character with many original features surviving. Two-storey on terrace, five broad bays.

Single storey conservatory along whole front elevation, breaks forward in bow at east end, timber framed glazed structure. fFlat roof as balcony on first floor, elaborate iron railings above.

Pair of French windows in centre of elevation, overlights, group of 4 full length arched windows at west end, further French windows in outer bays.

Large dressed granite gate piers on roadside some distance north, iron gates, fleur-de-lis pattern. Pedestrian gate with granite archway to south by front door.
