Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

Early 19th century farm group. Evidence that this was originally a single storey house with a second storey added some years later. Confirmation of this is gained by examining the facade and east gable.

The well-proportioned house demonstrates the skill of the stonemasons of the time in matching an additional top storey to the existing single storey building.

Farm group. Main house with rear stables and outbuildings.

The interior is much altered and all original features have been greatly altered. The fireplaces have been recently rebuilt. The arched niche window beside the fireplace (ground floor east) is a reused item recently installed. It is from an unknown location, although appears local and medieval.
