Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

A good example of a mid-18th century house, with earlier origins, which retains its original proportions and some original features. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

One of a group of historic dwellings in a cul-de-sac situated to the north off Mont des Vaux. Four-bay, two-storey plus attic.

Notes and references

  1. Online trees show him born in St Lawrence in 1714, the son of Jean and an unknown mother. This is incorrect. He was born in St Peter in 1710, the son of Jean and an unknown mother. It has not been possible to identify his father or find a name for his mother. There are at least three marriages of a Jean at the right time, but none in St Peter. We have not been able to place Jean and Jeanne in any of our family trees
