Historic Environment Record entry
Listed building
Historic farm group with early 18th century origins, retaining original 18th and early 19th century interior and exterior features. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
A number of Georgian style features indicate renovations in the early 19th century.
Five-bay, two-storey house with barn, now converted to residential use to the east. 19th century lean-to extension to the rear.
Single pile, two rooms wide with central passage and lean-to extension at the back. Staircase with simple handrail, turned newel and stick balusters, and applique to the sides. Ground floor east room has fireplace with large corbels and timber lintels. Beam and joists. Ground floor west room, reportedly the single surviving corbel has been boarded over. 19th century fireplace is salvaged from another property. Room in lean-to has a large chimney breast, possibly the location of a kitchen range.
