Listed building
A good example of an historic farm group, which includes 17th century remains and 19th century additions and retains some good original features. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Set back, farm group now residential/hotel, all behind granite rubble wall. South facing building, south elevation: five-bay, two-storey with attic. Slate pitched roof, rendered end chimney stacks, box roof dormer.
First floor with brick lintels and wide granite sills, ground floor with granite lintels and sills.
As a continuation of the house a range of granite outbuildings, some thought to be more recent additions. North elevation: two-storey, five-bay with additional five-bay farmhouse adjoining, 17th century chamfered granite arched doorway with ornamental 'thistle' stops. East facing former farm building.
