A fine early-mid 19th century townhouse, one of row of three similar houses.
Retains original features including front door and many original features and fabric inside.
Association with Robin family of merchants. Original owners were Robin, merchants.
This house, one of a group of three, was used as the Parish telephone exchange before the South Exchange was opened at Red Houses.
Set back from pavement behind low wall with railings and small front garden. Two storeys plus attic.
Reputed to contain many features of architectural and historic interest, including much of its woodwork of circa 1830. Stairs typical of period with original mahogany (probably) turned newel at foot and on landing.
