This mid-19th century, three-bay house with slightly later east wing retains its historic proportions, character and features - of particular note the moulded gutter.

It retains a fine hallway and stair and some joinery internally.

It contributes to the roadside setting on the junction. House set back from road, two-storey with cellar, three bays with single bay set back slightly to east, single storey lean-to to west.

Central entrance to three bays, double pile. Hallway divided by flat arch. Stair, in open, spiral ended well, has mahogany handrail ending in spiral, turned balusters. Arched stair niches. Four-panel doors throughout. West room open plan north to south; east side of hall are two rooms with flat arched opening with double, two leafed panel doors. Ground floor west room has marble fire surround with mid-20th century tiled opening.
