Belmont - although we do not have direct confirmaton, it would seem likely that Belmont, on Old Beaumont Hill, is the same property. It has a datestone ILG ADC 1833 for Josue Le Gros and Anne de Carteret, who married on 16 February 1826

Listed building

An impressive early 19th century villa with later additions and embellishment, which retains historic character and features, contributing to its rural roadside setting. Three-storey, five-bay with two-storey, single bay entrance wing to west. Two-storey converted outbuildings adjoining to north east.
