Rural cottage, named after a magnificent Magnolia Campbellii in the garden, thought to be over 140 years old and one of the first of its type to be introduced to Europe. Complex terraced garden up hillside to rear of house. [1]

Notes and references

  1. It is a common misbelief that the magnolia is in the grounds of the neighbouring property, Les Vaux, which has extensive landscaped gardens, but although it is very close to the boundary, it is in the grounds of Magnolia Cottage
