Historic Environment Record entry
Apparently not a listed building, this 19th century farmhouse, with earlier origins, retains exterior character and historic interest. Former farmhouse.
Although of general early 19th century appearance, the house includes some stonework which suggests an earlier date, including the quoinstones. A circa 1900 photograph also shows it with dressed stone gable copings, and thatched.
The first bay is shown with an unusual arrangement of openings, this part of the house originally without internal connection to main building.
A house on this site is shown on the 1795 Richmond Map.
