Historic Environment Record entry

Not a listed building. Little remains to suggest that this was a former Methodist chapel, opened in 1883 to serve a small congregation of Bible Christians which had grown up around Archirondel. In 1907 the congregation joined with the Methodists and it became a Methodist chapel until its closure in 1971. Chapel originally a three-bay cement rendered building with a gabled slate roof, small porch and narrow buttresses. The 1907 foundation stone likely refers to the schoolroom, now demolished.
