Rural house of early origins, retaining historic character and features. The house, although altered in the 18th century, bears the appearance of an important medieval house of three-cell form.

This building is of historical importance as an early example of a Jersey farm house, certainly 18th century with origins circa 16th century or possibly earlier medieval origins. Shown on the Richmond map of 1795.

Long farmhouse range, with rear lean-to service extension. Dressed stone chimneys with thatch drip-stones, dressed stone verge on west gable. 20th century rough-cast finish with raised render openings.
