This family gathering in front of Le Passage was to celebrate the diamond wedding anniversary of Philip and Jane Le Cornu. The couple married in 1854, dating this photograph to 1914

Five-bay, two-storey house with former barn and pigsty to the east.

Notes and references

  1. Although the couple's marriage is on record in St Lawrence in 1794, as is the baptism of their seven children in the next 15 years, we have been unable to place them in any of our Nicolle family trees. It is not possible to see whether this thinly inscribed and worn stone reads 'INC' or 'JNC', but the latter is shown in the Datestone Register
