- ↑ Although the couple's marriage is on record in St Lawrence in 1794, as is the baptism of their seven children in the next 15 years, we have been unable to place them in any of our Nicolle family trees. It is not possible to see whether this thinly inscribed and worn stone reads 'INC' or 'JNC', but the latter is shown in the Datestone Register
