Listed building

Outstanding example of a flamboyant and substantial late Victorian seaside villa in French style, surviving in excellent condition. Many external and internal features survive and others have been sensitively replaced.

A fine example of its type surviving in a rarely found state of preservation for this fragile type of ornamentation. Circa 1880s.

Semi-detached, two-storey with attic, three-bay, projecting central gabled bay. Pitched slate roof, fishscale banding, replacement fleur-de-lis cresting, rendered corniced chimneys, barley twist pots, fretwork bargeboards and finial on gable end, dormer in historic style with fretwork bargeboards, cresting and finial to match main gable, round arched timber sash window
