Listed building

A good example of a substantial late 19th century seaside villa, one of a pair, with Vue des Rochers to east Good survival of ornamented exterior, and some internal features.

The house displays the architecture of Victorian fashion, with a Flemish style gable. Built in 1895. These two have similar internal detailing and layout to two other pairs nearby to west: Beau Rivage and Hotel Playa d'Or and Riva Bella. End of terrace.

Pitched slate roof, moulded cornice, chimneys at ends, each rendered with cornice; Dutch/Gothic style gable above cross wing on east bay, bulls eye window.

Corinthian columns support balcony and porch, windows, timber louvered shutters throughout.

Double pile, double fronted, central hall, staircase offset at right angle at rear of hall. Many four-panel doors, panelled window reveals, deep skirtings, some dado and picture rails.

Few original features on first floor, but small iron fireplace in rear east bedroom.
