Historic Environment Record entry
Listed building
One of a pair of Modern-style houses designed by locally renowned architect Arthur B Grayson in the 1930s. Part of an interesting group of Modern-style houses built in Jersey at this time. It is paired with Chatelaine. Semi-detached, two-storey, flat roof in white cement render. The house retains its innovative early 1930s external form and character with features illustrative of that period and of the modernist architectural style. It has an asymmetrical composition characterised by geometric shapes, with wrap-around corner windows, a triangular projecting bay, and a porthole window on the first floor. White painted rendered low wall to road.
