Families associated with the property
- Pinel: Between 1901 and 1945 the property was owned by the Pinel family. Jane Ann Pinel, nee Ahier, was living there in 1901 with her Advocate son John Edwin Pinel, and his wife Hannah, and their niece Kathleen. Jane seems to have separated from her husband, John, who was still living at Newcastle House, St Lawrence, the couple's home in the previous census, with a housekeeper. By 1911 Jane was widowed. She continued to live at Belle Plage with her son (who was elected Constable of St Helier in 1910 and served until 1924) until 1929, when her will was registered. Anna Maria Pinel, nee Oram (1868- ), John Edwin Pinel's second wife, and his niece, Kathleen (1897- ), were registered as living there in 1941; and Anna Maria Pinel was resident there in 1945 when her will was registered.
